WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Anyone who works with the release of government information or is interested in obtaining government information: including attorneys; paralegals; contractors; regulated business and industry; FOIA officers; disclosure officers; Privacy Act system managers; federal investigators; records managers; program managers; security officers; personnel officers; contract officers; media; journalists; interested private citizens; etc. WHERE: Harrah's Las Vegas, 3475 Las Vegas Blvd., South, Las Vegas Nevada, 89109. The hotel phone number is 702-777-7600 and the guest fax number is 702-777-7791. HOTEL RATES & PROCEDURES: For sleeping rooms, the federal per diem rate is $114 per night, single or double occupancy. There is a $20 per person charge for extra people. Maximum of four persons per room. Rates are subject to Clark County Room Tax, currently 9 percent. All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first night's room and tax charge. Credit cards will not be charged until first night of reservation. Credit card will be charged if reservation is a no-show. Harrah's Las Vegas allows attendees the right to cancel their guest room/guestroom reservations without penalty up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the attendees' scheduled arrival date. Harrah's Las Vegas shall charge the attendee one (1) night's guaranteed guestroom rate plus tax for cancellation within seventy-two (72) hours of the scheduled arrival date or failure of the individual to check-in on the scheduled arrival date. Any remaining nights of the "no-show" reservation will be canceled. It is the policy to require a credit card or cash deposit for incidental charges. CHECK-IN TIME IS 4:00 PM AND CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 AM. For reservations, please call 888-458-8471. It is important to identify the group code S03ASA7 to receive the special group rate. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is January 30, 2007 or earlier if the ASAP sleeping room block is filled. HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM: Telephone registrations are not accepted. Please complete the registration form and mail, fax or electronically submit it to ASAP with your training authorization or payment. Credit card billing will take place PRIOR to the program. ASAP reserves the right to close registration when available space is filled. The first 300 persons registering in a timely fashion with completed authorizations or payment should check ASAP's Web site at www.accesspro.org for confirmation of registration acceptance, thereby eliminating the need to call the ASAP office. We require a three business days turnaround time on the posting of registrations. ASAP's fax number is 202-216-9646. PROGRAM FEES & PAYMENT: Registration for the WRTC is for the three-day program. There are no one-day registrations! Fees include program attendance, materials, continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, and luncheons.
Government purchase orders, training payment authorizations, checks, money orders, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, IMPAC) and ACH payments are accepted. DRESS CODE: Business or business-casual attire is appropriate. We strongly recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket. Meeting room temperatures vary and can be difficult to control MISCELLANEOUS: ASAP meetings are non-smoking meetings including luncheon, registration and coffee break areas. Participants are requested to turn-off cell phone ringers during the conference. RECORDING: ASAP does not secure speaker releases. Therefore, recording of any kind is not permitted. ASAP PROGRAM POLICY: Programs are subject to change. While ASAP endeavors to ensure that all its program materials are in accordance with the law and established U.S. Government policies, none of the procedures or policies presented in any ASAP training session or set forth in any ASAP publication should be considered official U.S. Government or U.S. Government Agency policy.
