UPDATED - Announcement – ASAP 2026 Training

The 18^th Annual National Training Conference will be held at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel on July 15-16, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia. Please note that these dates are earlier than previously announced. Program content will focus on FOIA and Privacy Act.   

This 2-day training program format is in-person. Costs prohibit virtual options. Registration opens the week of May 18  and Closes July 9.

Tuition/Fees/Quote through June 15: ASAP Members = $1,100 / Nonmembers = $1,250

Tuition/Fees/Quote June 16-July 9: ASAP Members = $1,200 / Nonmembers = $1,350

Sponsorships: A limited number of sponsorship opportunities will be available. Information is coming soon!

Full details will be posted soon. ASAP did not contract for a block of sleeping rooms. Out-of-Towners should work with their travel offices to secure sleeping rooms at the hotel or nearby hotels.  We suggest that you start with the Renaissance Arlington Capital View or the Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Capital View, which is physically attached to the Renaissance.

FOIA Court Case Update – Video and Presentation Materials Available - Over 500 access professionals tuned in on January 29 to listen to Michael Heise and Dick Huff  review the most recent FOIA court cases.
