ASAP Issues a Call for Nominations

ASAP is seeking dedicated members who are interested in helping lead the Society by serving on the ASAP Board of Directors for the 2027–2028 term. In particular, ASAP is seeking candidates for the President and the Secretary officer positions. Each position carries a two-year term ending December 31, 2028. ASAP 19th Annual National Training Conference (2027)

ASAP has begun its venue search in the Washington, D.C. area for the 19th Annual National Training Conference (NTC). Plan for a 3-day event in mid-late July. For budget purposes, pencil in $1500 per person registration fees. ASAP members receive a $100 discount. Fees will be confirmed upon venue contract finalization. The federal travel per diems are $192 per night lodging and $92 M&IE.  More details will be shared as plans are finalized. Notifications and updates will be sent by email and posted at www.accesspro.org.

ASAP 18^th Annual National Training Conference  - A Resounding Success!

The 2026 NTC evaluation results were extremely positive: attendees consistently rated presenters in the mid-to-high 4s on a 5-point scale, while the qualitative comments show great appreciation for knowledgeable presenters, practical examples, interaction, and in-person networking. Three themes dominate the positive comments: 1) Practical expertise and real-world application; 2) Engaging presenters mattered almost as much as subject matter; and Networking and face-to-face interaction were major sources of value. The NTC drew participation of over 300 access professionals!
